The Tai sisters ventured to Paris, France for fun-filled days of eating, museums, eating, walking, eating, and drinking. I think I got my fill of my ultra-favorite, pain au chocolat (chocolate filled croissants).

Florence is one of the best cities we've ever visited. Great pasta, wine, art, architecture, tira misu, coffee, cappuccino, espresso, hot chocolate, pizza. What more could you ask for? Although it was unseasonably cold, we had a wonderful time anyway - wandering the streets and alleyways, poring through some of the most awesome art we've ever seen (how can you top Michelangelo's David and Boticelli's Birth of Venus?), and of course eating and drinking (two of my favorite activites). I am ready to retire to a Tuscan Villa!

| | | | | Taking a time out - late August, 2004
In desperate need of time away from the house project, we took a wonderfully relaxing vacation in Vermont. All our troubles seemed far away as we watched the loons fly over the lake. See pictures. |
