| | |  | | Two years after our last house project, John was finally ready to tackle something again. Our old deck was rotting and just plain ugly. So began the deconstruction & reconstruction. It is still in progress, with the first two generations complete. The third generation is in progress.

| | Visit to Derek Fell's Garden |

Mom came out from California for a visit, and we had a private tour of Derek Fell's Cedar Ridge Farm. Very beautiful and inspiring! Mom thought it was a little luan (chaotic, messy), but she still liked it a lot. Derek Fell also autographed her copy of "Van Gogh Gardens."
